 Paint Interactions Still Life Value Scale Value Sphere Still Life Silhouettes

  For this project I chose to do a drawing of a building from my hometown. This building is called the Dousman House, and it is on a big island that is part of my town. The island floods a lot so I thought it would be fun do the contrast between how it normally is and when it is flooded. I also kept the flooded version a little more cartoony, because it just seemed ironic.

   ↑ This is goes through the process of a guy giving his neighbor and love interest a love letter (text). Then he gets a text that shuts him down (text and technology). He is then upset (body). This is not a personal story, I just thought of it.

For this assignment I drew a Hershey kiss. The top three drawings are all without the wrapper. The bottom two are with the wrapper. And the second to bottom one on the left is partly unwrapped. I decided to leave all the white space because I liked the contrast between the left and right sides.

            In this drawing I wanted the building in front to look like just a small local shop, surrounded by a bunch of bigger corporate looking buildings.
